Challenges For A Senior Growth Marketing Manager At A Marketing Agency
Alina's biggest challenge as a Senior Growth Marketing Manager is balancing "short-term goal orientation" with the necessity of long-term investments, a common tension in digital marketing. Further, demonstrating that the agency is a true team player, not just an outsourced service, requires consistent effort and proving that they care about "your business just as much as you do".

What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
I find a challenge in digital marketing's short-term goal orientation. A lot of times, companies are really focused on the current quarter or current months, trying to get as much sales as possible now.
It always forms better when we have not just short-term goals, but also long-term goals. Sometimes you have to seed and invest in those long-term goals as well, so this can be challenging to navigate.
The other thing is proving that you're part of the team. A lot of times, when you're working with an agency, the company can see there's their team and you're just an outsider, like an additional service. They outsource some work to you.
It's important to prove that you're actually part of their team, on their side, and that you care about their business just as much as they do. So, through your work, consistency, and being there to deliver, that usually works really well for being accepted as part of the team.
