What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
My main responsibilities involve managing different projects we have with clients. These clients are typically German companies or larger organizations looking to expand their footprint in the United States. They might also be interested in learning about the innovative business culture here in Silicon Valley.
Managing these projects includes overseeing communication with the clients. I also ensure that the deliverables, such as meetings, market reports, and sometimes events, are taken care of.
I manage a team of a couple of associates and also oversee the projects themselves. Market reports can involve in-depth research on different industries and identifying inflection points or business opportunities for German companies.
This also includes in-depth market development research for specific companies or industry organizations. They might be looking to meet with certain players to develop business partnerships, find customers, or even locate technology providers here. This allows them to use these services back in Germany and become more innovative organizations.
No two days are exactly the same, and my responsibilities vary depending on the project. I manage the project, including the budget, the team, and the timelines.
