What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

The thing that has really changed, and this is maybe my own personal journey, is finding a workplace where I feel really good about my relationships with all my coworkers. I feel competent at what I'm doing and interested in the problems we're trying to solve.

The question that's interesting to me is that we're getting to work on things that have to do with the architecture of how to use LLMs to solve data problems. It's a new field and has to do with the nature of intelligence and how to build systems that have intelligent parts. That's a new factor in creation, so that's pretty exciting.

I like building UIs because I like being able to see someone use something. Then I look and think, "Oh, if the button was over there, it would work easier." That's the sort of thing that really gets me. Some engineers don't care at all, but for me, I'm like, "Oh, it looks good and people have a smooth experience."
