What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

For a brand marketing manager, the number one responsibility is brand voice and consistency across channels. I see myself as a funnel for other departments, ensuring clear communication with the target audience. My main goal is to maintain a consistent brand voice and stay true to the company's identity.

From there, this responsibility trickles down into several areas. For me, this looks like strategizing initiatives for brand awareness, such as growing our customer base through social media, email, or word-of-mouth. It also involves considering the customer journey and lifecycle, from initial awareness of our brand to their ongoing experience.

The aim is not only to encourage conversion but also to foster loyalty and repeat business. As a hotel company, retention and loyalty are significant aspects of my role. This includes managing email and social media efforts, from creating posts and strategizing content to execution. All of this ties back to maintaining our brand voice and ensuring our messaging aligns with our brand identity.

The more complex part involves focusing on marketing metrics and measuring success. This can be challenging with creative projects, but it involves balancing the creative side with analyzing data and reporting on its implications for the revenue and sales teams. There's definitely an analytical component to the role.

Currently, I've also been managing influencers, which is a popular trend in marketing. Handling affiliates and influencers rounds out my recent responsibilities.
