What entry-level positions are journeymen typically hired for that an undergraduate college student might consider?

There isn't necessarily a direct role or path that leads to being a brand marketing manager. I would say that brand marketing manager is more of a generalist role, like a Swiss Army knife.

Sometimes entry-level jobs might look more specific, such as a social media coordinator, brand marketing coordinator, or just a general marketing coordinator. There are a couple of different positions that folks can look for.

I found my internship to be a great starting point personally, as it was a good way to dip my toes in. I've always been in generalist roles, so I haven't had the experience of being simply focused on social media or influencers.

I think if someone is interested in exploring different elements of marketing before getting into that generalist position, it wouldn't hurt. So, looking for coordinator roles or internships would be beneficial for someone curious about marketing.
