What does a day in the life of a managing director look like?
It can be pretty varied. I think every role within the spectrum of jobs in the PR industry can be pretty varied day to day. This is no different for a leader of an organization.
Any given day, I'm doing client work, dealing with personnel issues, or maybe recruiting people. I might be selling the firm's capabilities or interacting with colleagues from other brands within our network.
I might be doing research on a topic that I think we need to get smart about. Most of the time, I'm just trying to solve problems and make life easier for the rest of the team here.
This allows them to focus on doing really good work. I clear the path ahead of them and ensure we're equipped to support our clients. I want us to do really good work that we can measure, look back on, and feel good about.
