What does a day in the life of a founder look like?
It's varied. One of the real upsides is I get to make it what I want, so it's very intentional and designed by me.
My day varies, but generally, I'm not a morning person and I have kids to get off to school. I don't start my workday until about 9:30 or 10 AM.
After getting the kids to school, I work out and have a slower start to my morning, which I love. Then, I'm typically in meetings from 10 AM to 4 PM on Zoom or Google Meet.
I spend that time talking to colleagues across the country, working with current clients, and attending online webinars. If I'm not on Zoom, I might be at in-person lunch meetings or attending convenings and conferences.
At 4 PM, the meeting portion of my day is done. I then become very hands-on with my family and kids.
Because I love the work I do, I might get back online for about an hour after dinner. I'll catch up on articles I didn't get to read or do things on LinkedIn. Then, I call it a day.
In general, every week I have a lot of virtual meetings and at least one in-person meeting a day. I'm also reading and listening constantly.
