First of all, math is very important. I got into it because I was strong in math and physics. Physics is another area, specifically statics.
There are different branches of physics, but statics is something we use every day. So, math and physics to begin with.
As you grow in the industry, people skills become very important. I would say that's probably important in a lot of jobs, especially if you want to advance or sell your product.
To keep clients happy, we've got to be able to communicate well. So, communication is another important skill.
As a project manager, organization is very important. Being on top of schedules, what people are doing, and budgets requires a lot of organization. Things can get really busy at times, so being organized really helps.
