What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
I would say, and this is just in my experience, that staying focused and serious about school, class, and grades helped me develop the skills I needed to succeed. These skills include discipline, perseverance, and working through difficult problems to achieve an outcome I felt proud of. School taught me all of these things.
It wasn't a specific class or person I met, but rather the skills learned from simply being in school. This involved waking up and getting myself to class, finding the motivation to study, and avoiding bad habits like partying too much or staying out late.
It was about forming really good habits and remembering that you get what you give. The more you put into something, the more you'll get out of it. So you have to ask yourself if something is worth investing in. School is always something you should invest in.
