What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
I've spent most of my career in financial services, including 15 years at Citibank. Most recently, I was head of digital product at Orca Finance, a commercial solar lender that was acquired earlier this year.
Right now, I support various impact-driven startups as a fractional head of digital product. My responsibilities vary depending on the startup and its stage.
For early-stage startups, my role is to help them understand their customer base, clarify their vision, and find product-market fit. I also ensure they have a minimum viable product (MVP) to present to investors.
For later-stage startups, my role is more strategic. This includes building product roadmaps, prioritizing features, analyzing data, and gathering customer feedback. I also consider how to enhance functionality to make products simpler and easier to use, and even think about what customers might not be saying.
Then, my team and I collaborate with designers and engineers to bring those ideas to life.
