What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
It's important to treat everyone around you with kindness. I know that sounds cliché, but it's the truth.
I've dealt with so many brutal, mean, and unprofessional managers. Through those experiences, I learned what not to do when I became a manager myself.
I treat my staff with nothing but kindness and empathy. I also try to communicate as well as I can. I believe our approach really shows in the work they produce.
So, just be kind. Whoever you are kind to will always reciprocate.
